The journal "Democracy and Governance" is an academic journal published by the Department of Political Science of National Chung Cheng University. It is published twice a year, in February and August each year. All are welcome to submit manuscripts at any time. This journal has signed a contract with Huayi Online Library, so students and teachers from universities and colleges across Taiwan can download and read articles from this journal.

This journal mainly publishes academic papers in Chinese and English related to political science, including methodology, comparative politics, public administration, public policy, international relations, international political economy and other fields, with a limit of 20,000 words (including appendices); it is supplemented by commentary papers, such as book reviews, research minutes, literature reviews, etc., with a limit of 10,000 words.

Although this journal is not a TSSCI journal, it has been committed to providing scholars with a friendly academic platform for more than three years. We hope that scholars will give this journal their rigorously written research paper manuscripts. In addition to carefully selecting reviewers, this journal recommends that reviewers provide specific revision suggestions for manuscripts based on the principle of helping contributors improve their paper writing skills, and avoid making fierce attacks without providing evidence. Before the editorial board of this journal sends the reviewer's review opinion to the submitter, it will first preliminarily determine the quality of the review opinion - for example, whether the review suggestion is specific, whether the review opinion is consistent with the publication decision, whether the wording is stimulating, etc. - otherwise, new reviewers will be invited to assist in accordance with the priority.
